A very long weekend

Last Friday started like most days do, I woke up and got something for breakfast then went to the living room to watch some TV. 10:15 AM I went to a doctor's appointment, not anything unusual for me. The doctor told me I had something going on with my lungs and gave me some antibotics. Afterward they gave me a shot that was supposed to help with the infection in my lungs along with my usual allergy shots.

Now the nurses who give me my shots are amazing, they are some of the nicest women I've had the chance of meeting. They actually make you feel like a person, not just another patient that they are obligated to tend to. Unfortunately last Friday was the first day of my new vials. The nurses gave me a little bit more then I was supposed to be getting and I ended up having a severe allergic reaction.

Friday I just had a really bad headache and a swollen arm but Saturday I started having flu-like symptoms. It was really frightening, my heart was racing and I kept having hot and cold flashes. I ended up going to the emergency room but the ER doctor said I was just sensitive to some of the medicines that the doctor had gave me the previous day. I did as he instructed as soon as I got home and still had no luck on feeling any better.

Sunday, was the worst I've felt in a long time. I hardly remember the day to be honest. The most I remember is I woke up, got something to drink, then went and laid down and fell asleep.

Thankfully, I'm feeling better today.
