Taking nature pictures... also its my birthday!

Monday my friend and I got out our cameras and walked down to the creek behind our house and snapped a few nature pictures. We seem to be good at this nature/still life photography, but I'm more of a child/family/people in general photographer. I love to capture a moment of life in a photo so that people can see it years later or so that people who weren't able to be there to see the event take place have a chance to experience it for a moment. Anyway! I figured I'd share some of the shots I took the other day.

Oh, today is my 19th birthday. I'm happy to be alive another year and to be (somewhat) healthy. I'm glad to have one of my best friend's here and to have my family, who at times annoy me, but hey! that's what family is for.



The carnival is in town and will be open tomorrow through Sunday. I'm going to be taking my camera and trying to snap some shots while we're there. I'm hoping that my card reader didn't get broke because my mom accidentally dropped it and cracked it open on the floor. If she did break it, I'll have to buy a new one, if she didn't then I'll be posting new pictures in just a few days.
